For this skill session we will be building a medium-scale food dehydrator that uses heat from the sun to preserve food.

Participants will work together to build one or two, and be provided with full plans and supply lists to make some for themselves. The dehydrators we build as a group will be given to a participant via drawing. (transport can be provided)

This is our first-ever meeting! The first half will largely consist of gathering ideas for how the group should operate as well as any topic suggestions for future meetings.

For the learning session: Bring any Supplies you think you might want to better participate or get reviewed by the group. Halie will provide examples of go bag equipment and handout on bug out bags in general.
